At Rustic Hire, our team is driven by a shared passion for furniture, design, restoration, woodworking, and sustainable living. We like to think of ourselves as more than just a furniture hire company; with a commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability at our core, we take pride in offering bespoke solutions tailored to the individual needs of our clients.
The majority of our products are handmade using solid wood. Variations in grain patterns, knots and colour are inherent to the characteristics of the material and are expected. Each piece is, therefore, unique.
Born from Necessity,
Tailored to your Style
In 2015, our founder, Ray, faced a dilemma when planning his barn wedding – he needed large tables that were nowhere to be found. Determined to find a solution, he took matters into his own hands and built them himself!
From Ray’s vision, Rustic Hire blossomed. What began as a humble project has flourished into a thriving, family-run business, rooted in a commitment to quality and personalised service.

Our small but inventive team are always happy to liaise through every stage of the hire process, offering advice on any area from stock availability and logistics to sourcing specific items and building bespoke pieces.
No project is too big – if you can dream it, we can help you make it a reality.
We always enjoy working collaboratively with venues and stylists and love seeing our furniture come alive in different spaces. Whether providing repeat deliveries or tailored packages, we don’t just look to establish partnerships but build relationships.

Zero Carbon,
All Love
“We are delighted to partner with Rustic Hire Ltd to help identify and offset their environmental impact.”
James Poynter Director, Carbon Neutral Britain
Alongside our independently verified carbon offsetting, we also choose to support local UK climate projects that benefit the landscapes and communities we work in.
With our main depot based in Essex, we’re proud to support a short-rotation coppice (SRC) willow sequestration project in the county, helping to enhance biodiversity, improve land resilience, and contribute to long-term carbon sequestration close to home.
This project operates in line with ICROA best-practice principles and represents additional voluntary climate action, complementing – but not replacing – our certified carbon offsetting.
